CHURCH VITALITY & CLERGY WELLNESS I'm available to work with a select number of pastors and church communities in private coaching sessions and consultations related to clergy wellness, congregational conflict, church vitality & growth, staffing structure and more. I also have a series of workshops that I can offer in-person or via Zoom on many aspects of church vitality, evangelism, stewardship and finances, testimony, spiritual parenting, post- and mid-traumatic resiliency and joy. I'm happy to customize any topic to your setting. I'm always delighted to guest preach! My honorarium starts at $750 depending on your church size and location. And if you're reading any of my books as a church group, I'd be happy to drop into your last session for a modest honorarium! PSYCHEDELIC SOUL CARE Psychedelic medicine has re-emerged into the medical and therapeutic realms with promising data for healing a wide variety of challenges that keep us from wholehearted living: depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, substance use disorder and more. These compounds can also help "worried well" people to do intensive soul work, liberating them from old stories and finding courage & energy for new endeavors. Psychedelics by another name, entheogens, have historically put people on renewed and intimate terms with the Holy, and helped heal religious trauma. RETREATS AT FOLKENVALE I'm offering a select number of retreats every year at the 12-acre riverfront oasis I steward in the beautiful Sierra foothills of NorCal! Offerings will take a variety of forms: retreats for writers, cancer survivors, clergy seeking renewal and the medicine of nature & community; silent retreats; retreats offering breathwork and sometimes legal ketamine to stimulate a non-ordinary state of consciousness and its attendant rapid healing and growth.
